How the Korean lift works
The Korean Lash Lift softens and lifts each natural lash from root to tip, rather than forcing a single curl point. By adjusting the lift angle and tension across the lash, we create a tailored curl that makes lashes appear longer, fuller, and more defined without adding extensions.
During the appointment we assess eye shape, lash length, and desired look to select the lift style that suits you. Expect a calm, consultative process that prioritizes symmetry and natural proportions, so the outcome complements your features and daily activities like beach days or commuting.
Factors that shape your results
Individual lash characteristics—length, thickness and natural growth direction—determine how dramatic a lift will read. Shorter lashes can still be lifted for visible curl, but their apparent length will be limited by natural fibers; technicians adjust angle and placement to make the most of each client's lashes.
Lifestyle factors common in Del Mar—frequent beach visits, morning marine layer, or regular exercise—affect maintenance and expectations. Many clients book lifts before summer vacations and December events; those busiest months reflect demand for a water‑resistant curl that holds up through outdoor activities.
Aftercare and how long it lasts
Aftercare is essential to protect the lift in the first 24 hours: avoid water, steam, and any oil‑based products that can weaken the curl. Gentle cleansing afterward and avoiding vigorous rubbing will help the lift settle; we provide specific aftercare guidance at your appointment.
A lash tint can be added for deeper definition, especially useful for early‑morning surf or beach days when you prefer low maintenance. Results vary with hair color and previous treatments; we’ll discuss combined lift‑and‑tint options so you can choose the best plan before booking.
